THE GROVE

Located in the heart of Central State, sits a 6-acre parcel featuring over 150 mature trees.
While this forest currently offers opportunities to catch a glimpse at the local red-tail hawks or go on a quiet stroll, plans are underway to transform this space into a truly majestic commons (see renderings below).

CENTRAL STATE VISION PLAN

In 2018, local urban think-tank People for Urban Progress (PUP) and landscape architecture firm Merritt Chase, created a community plan focused on the layout and design of the Grove and subsequent trail connection system throughout the Central State campus. The addition of this plan will help shape the final development phases of the campus.

The plan will not be built overnight and will require the collaboration, communication and coordination of all Central State leaders, property owners and stakeholders. We look forward to working with you all!
